Seeking qualified firms to develop a comprehensive safety action plan ( plan ) consistent with the requirements of the u. S. Department of transportation s safe streets and roads for all (ss4a) program. The selected consultant will assist the city in creating a data-driven, community-supported safety plan that establishes a long-term strategy to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries while improving safety, accessibility and mobility for all roadway users. The action plan shall satisfy all applicable ss4a requirements and position the city for future ss4a implementation grant applications and other federal and state transportation funding opportunities.
