Project consists of demolition of the existing soft starter/mcc section that powers the existing 200 hp well pump at well sites 10, 11, and 12 each. Provide new standalone reduced voltage soft starter (rvss) for existing 200 hp well pump at well site, 10, 11, and 12 each as indicated on drawings. Provide required cable and conduit to complete the installation of the new soft starter, and commissioning of the work.
All gate wells and roadways listed below shall be manufactured by Bibby or approved equal and be bid as follows: 100 5 1/4" x 26" gate well top sections - round slip type with top flange - 5 1/4" x 26" top/slide Barrel section without bottom flange. 100 5 1/4" round covers for above top sections with "WATER" marked in casting of cover - 5 1/4" cover/water. 100 5 1/4" x 36" gate well bottom sections - round slip type - 5 1/4" x 36" bottom/slide. 150 5 1/4" x 12" slip type rite height modified riser - tapers to 4 1/4". 150 5 1/4" x 24" slip type rite height modified riser – tapers to 4 1/4". 40 4 1/4" x 19" roadway top sections - slip type - 4 1/4" x 19" R top/slide. 40 4 1/4" round top covers for above top sections with “WATER” marked in casting of cover - 4 1/4" cover/water. 20 4¼" roadway bottom sections - slip type open base 4 1/4" x 36" R/bottom/slide.
The Town of St. George seeks bids to replace the existing pump with a new submersible assembly, including a Grundfos 385S400-6B-6 pump end and a 40 HP, 230-volt, three-phase submersible motor. The work also includes 150 feet of 4-inch Schedule 40 galvanized threaded-and-coupled drop pipe and supplying, mounting, connecting, and programming a Grundfos CUE VFD. The contractor must install the assembly, connect it to the existing discharge piping and VFD, perform startup and operational testing, and email the bid by the stated deadline.
Schedule A - Mobilize and prepare site; construct gabion walls; stabilize slope; erosion control; install a precast concrete utility vault, trench safety systems for worker protection during excavation, 4" and 8" DI water mains and connection assemblies, combination air release/air vacuum valves and fittings, and well house piping and mechanical; build new well house, foundation, and building; structural and architectural improvements; restore site. Schedule B - Provide well pumping equipment, instrumentation, and electrical work to make the well operational.
