Play equipment and safety surfaces must have International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA) certifications. Alternatively, play equipment and safety surfaces may be independently certified by a testing lab using the ASTM standards. Acceptable ASTM standards are: a. F1487 Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for Playground Equipment for Public Use. See attached file.
