The work includes a roughly 10.5-foot-high, 16-linear-foot cantilevered bulkhead with three cast-in-drilled-hole piles, reinforced-concrete retaining walls, a grade beam, and reconstruction of part of the sidewalk. The project is intended to mitigate a public-safety threat from encroaching debris and protect the public right-of-way.
