Description: The City of Daytona Beach is seeking a professional engineering consultant team to support replacement of the Daytona Beach Pier. The scope includes services for designing and constructing a new pier independent of the restaurant while preserving the restaurant’s current location over the water and its historic value. The consultant will also evaluate the restaurant substructure and, if needed, recommend strengthening work or a monitoring plan; the city’s WGI feasibility study is to be included with the solicitation.
