17081 Wabashkiki Drive Ramp RFP

Description: 1. Demo and replace ramp. Use existing sizing and layout. All new ramp components to be built per current code. Include appropriate treated building materials, fasteners/ hangers, supports, posts, beams, ledger board and concrete frost-free piers. Due to the width of the ramp, the total design load, beam size and footing size/spacing will need to be adjusted. Ensure that the ramp does not exceed 1” of fall per ft rule. A. Approx ramp measures: 6’ wide; total length is 40’: 1st run length run the stoop measures 14’ (including landing); 2nd run measures 22’ (including landing); and final run measures 14’ (including landing. B. Contractor will be responsible for providing the band and the contracted inspector a detailed layout, including lumber and footing sizing and spacing for review at the time of permitting. 2. Ramp will end at the corner of the existing sidewalk/ garage apron corner. This will be utilized as the landing. 3. Restore grade of any disturbed area of the yard. Apply black dirt & seed. 4. Due to the lateness of the 2026 season, construction is expected to start in the spring, immediately following the lift of road restrictions in mille lacs county. 5. Contract will be written with a june 30, 2027 deadline.
