Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA)

The 2027 OEDA Annual Summit, hosted by the Lake to River region, is Ohio's largest gathering of economic development professionals. It will bring together nearly 600 economic development leaders for four days of practical learning, peer exchange, and regional storytelling. The Summit focuses on showcasing the Lake to River region's unified revitalization strategy, including the redevelopment of former steel sites for advanced manufacturing, over $1 billion in new investment, and the conversion of legacy assets into new industries. Attendees will participate in Economic Development Project Tours to active investment sites such as the Kimberly-Clark project, Ultium Cells battery plant, Vallourec Star, Penguin City Brewery redevelopment, Youngstown Innovation Hub, YNG Aviation, Education and Training Center, former General Motors plant (now SoftBank facility), and a new museum in downtown Warren. The event will be headquartered at the Eastwood Event Centre in Niles, with programming and project tours extending across the region.
