Key discussion topics included the challenges residents face in naming the city as an additional insured on standard homeowner policies, inconsistencies in the enforcement of boulevard encroachment bylaws across the city, and the potential need for a more practical policy approach to minor encroachments. Staff clarified the existing permit framework and the city's risk management rationale behind current requirements.
