Ab2849 Promote Ownership By Workers For Economic Recovery Act Panel Meeting #6
The panel meeting focused on reviewing and discussing the draft study report. Key discussion points included the report's insufficient attention to the Aclc model, overreliance on ESOP evidence without distinguishing between forms, and a lack of concrete analysis on the Aclc's contribution to union jobs. Concerns were also raised about the vague policy recommendations and the limited coverage of successful Federated Co-op structures. The panel decided to postpone final approval of the report to allow for further feedback and revisions, aiming for a revised draft to be reviewed at a subsequent meeting.
