State Board of Community Colleges Strategic Plan Development Timeline Updates 2026-2029
This document provides an update on the development of the 2026-29 System Strategic Plan, outlining key activities and milestones. The plan's framework involves streamlining the structure into strategic goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and annual implementation tactics. The strategic goals, approved in February 2026, focus on three main pillars: building the best workforce in the world by expanding educational access and attainment; strengthening alignment between employers, students, and colleges to meet future workforce demands; and transforming the system to empower colleges and students through improved coordination and modernized tools. The update also details current engagement and input activities, including regional convenings and stakeholder surveys, leading to the State Board's consideration of the complete plan in February 2027.
